Why palm trees you ask? (or probably haven't) Well, for me palm trees bring a sense of calmness, freedom & peace. They make me think of holidays, the warm tropics, pina coladas.. a few of my favourite things. My slight obsession with palm trees and all things tropical was forced onto Whittaker, well before she was with us. The Loss of my Niece

One day I woke up early enough to see the sunrise and I took a photo of the pink sky and posted it on my Instagram story with the song ‘Bloom’ and for some reason I thought of Whittaker while doing it, like she belonged to the pink sky. Crystal and Ryan chose that song for Whittaker's funeral service.
